Hey guys,

I am so truly deeply sorry of having disappointed you. It won’t happen again. Due to a lack of time and ideas (add a tiny lil’ bit of laziness) I did not update for quite a while..

But now: It’s time to start walking with me again down that Trendavenue! For sure!

Before I stop waffling and start writing about today’s topic (little innuendo already in the title…) let me quickly say thank you to my cousin who encouraged me to write a new post otherwise she would have refused to check out Trendavenue. And special thanks to a very good friend of mine who showed me one of the most energetic videos of all time that left me ABSOULTELY speechless.

Kudos to those who feel addressed now…Let me know if you have read this, will ya?!

But enough of keeping you on tenterhooks: Here is the praised video (You HAVE to watch it till the end! Promise!)

I still get a goose-bumps every time I see it. Read the rest of this entry »

Hey you guys out there.

Strange title, hee?

If you thought I am suffering from a speech impediment, I’m sorry to tell you that this is not the case. Instead, I am suffering from a SEVERE earworm.

Most of you have probably heard of Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana. (To tell the whole story would take too long).

Just let me say the following: She is only 16 years old, but due to her over-ambitious parents and the typical Disney marketing strategies, she has approximately 1 billion US-Dollar on her bank account. Yep, pretty insane.

The latest coup on her resume is the movie to her enormously successful television show “Hannah Montana.”

And I have to admit, that I indeed went to the cinema with a friend of mine in order to see if she’s really worth all the hype.

Well…

Anyway, I’m drifting away from the topic that actually inspired me to write this post…

If I had three wishes, the first thing I would tell the magic fairy is that I’ve always dreamt of being able to fly: Just floating weightlessly through the air, feeling as light as a feather (even if one sometimes feels as heavy as blue whale…)

(By the way, if you wanna know the other two wishes I would go for, just scroll down a bit and use your imagination…hint: meeting ***)

Anyway. Flying. Right. Getting back on track.

Zac Efron has just been named one of the top 100 most influential people by Times magazine. Zac- who!? Never heard this name before!?

Let me change that in two minutes.

Zachary David Alexander Efron, 21, who became famous with the successful franchise “High School Musical”, is one of the hottest and most idolised teen stars nowadays.

Born and raised in sunny California, he enjoyed a very unspectacular upbringing. His father worked as an engineer at a local power plant, his mother as a secretary. Since he annoyed his parents with his constat singing day after day after day, they decided to enroll their son in the local community theatre where it became obvious that the future will shine bright for young Zac.

After small roles in Emergency room and CSI Miami, the year we’re in is: 2005. Read the rest of this entry »

When the sun tickles us with its first rays, all glossy magazines are concerned with one major topic (aside from stories such as “How to Lose 10 Pounds in 7 days”.):

the current fashion trends for our favorite time of the year.

They always try to convince us to buy the latest, up-to-date clothes, but fail to admit that all summer trends are basically the same every year.

(I’m not even going to deal with the reoccuring “trend” of men in sandals paired with white tennis socks. This would be too frustrating and a waste of time. There are things that you just cannot change. Deal with it!)

So for us women, it is basically maxi-hippie-ethno dresses paired with ancient-Rome/gladiator inspired sandals, and nude colors. Wow, sounds so new to me… Read the rest of this entry »
